Karim Botros is a Managing Partner at Echo Health Ventures, where he supports the firm in all aspects of the investment process to drive healthcare transformation through hands-on purpose-driven strategic investing.

As a Board Member of JumpStart Inc., Karim serves as both the Chair of the Investment Committee and as the Chief Investment Officer for JumpStart Ventures. Providing investment leadership, he is focused on capital raising efforts, adherence to the JumpStart Ventures investment diligence process, and portfolio governance.

Prior to Echo Health Ventures, Karim served in healthcare leadership roles at The MetroHealth System and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, and in private equity at The Riverside Company and The Jordan Company. Additionally, Karim serves on the boards of Curation Health and Medix Infusion, and as a board observer for Cityblock and Aledade.

Karim holds a Master of Business Administration, Master’s of Manufacturing Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University.
